Weather Plays Havoc With Practices

Both Maryborough Speedway and Toowoomba Speedbowl have made early calls to cancel their Practices being held today and tomorrow due to the unpredictable weather.  Varying amounts of rain have fallen over the past 36 hours making track preparations and general conditions unsavoury.

Toowoomba Speedbowl will not be able to schedule a Practice for some time now as next weekend the East Coast Sprintcar Spectacular kicks off in Cairns on Friday and Saturday nights, 28th & 29th August, then moves to Mackay on the follow Friday and Saturdaynights, 5th & 6th September before reaching the Speedbowl on Friday and Saturday 12th and 13th September.  Check out the Calendar for the Sedan support divisions running on these nights.

Maryborough Speedway will now look forward to their Monster Truck Show on Saturday 6th September with support from Nostalgia Sedans and Junior Sedans.

Gympie Speedway will be looking forward with fingers crossed to a fine weekend on 30th August to get in a Practice day – running from 2pm to 6pm.
