The National Super Sedan Series will again be televised nationwide in 2013/2014 with four rounds of competition to be broadcast on Speed Channel across the Foxtel and Austar networks. The television coverage in previous years has been positive and rewarding and plays a vital role in securing exposure for participating teams and sponsors.

The events selected for coverage provide opportunities for Super Sedan competitors from all parts of the country to secure national television exposure by taking part in one or more rounds of the championship.  The opportunity to win a round of Australia’s premier speedway sedan competition in front of a national television audience should serve as a great incentive for competitors to take on the series regulars. Of course, the television coverage allows race fans from around Australia to catch all the interstate series action from the comfort of their lounge room.

The 2013/2014 National Super Sedan Series television coverage will again be produced by the team at Power Productions, the leaders in speedway broadcasting. An agreement has been reached with Power Productions to broadcast four 60-minute programs on Speed, with coverage from four rounds of the championship.

The first program will, of course, feature coverage from the opening round of the 2013/2014 series, the first NSSS event to be contested on the completely revamped Toowoomba Speedbowl circuit.  The opening program will go to air on Wednesday, January 29.

The second program will be broadcast on February 26 and will feature all the action from round three at Goulburn Speedway, the first time the Goulburn circuit has featured on the NSSS broadcast schedule. The third television program, scheduled for March 12, will include competition from round five of the championship at Hobart Speedway in Tasmania.

Fittingly, the final program in the schedule will cover the all of the drama and excitement of the series finale from Murray Bridge Speedway in South Australia. The grand final program will go to air on Wednesday, April 2.

Each broadcast will feature multi-camera coverage of all the racing and behind-the-scenes action and each show will be replayed twice on Speed, ensuring significant exposure for participating teams and associated sponsors.
