ATTENTION STREET STOCK DRIVERS – A NO NOMINATION FEE STATE TITLE IS ANNOUNCED
At the recent Speedway Sedans Queensland (QSCA) meeting, delegates adopted an innovative plan aimed squarely at attracting as many Street Stock competitors as possible to a week of exciting title competition.
There will be no nomination fee for the Speedway Sedans Queensland (QSCA) 2016/2017 State Street Stock Title. That’s right – NO nomination fee. The Queensland State Street Stock Title is set down for Saturday 7th January 2017 at Gympie’s Mothar Mountain Speedway. It comes only one week after the Speedway Sedans Australia SRE National Street Stock Title to be held at Lucas Oil Kingaroy Speedway on 30/31 December 2016 – 1 January 2017.
With this National Title being the very first one for the class to be held in Queensland and the class still being relatively new in the state; the aim is to bundle a package that will attract as many competitors to the titles as is possible.
Toowoomba’s High Tech Oils Charlton Raceway has hopped on board as well and will run Street Stocks on Tuesday night 3rd January 2017; thus making one awesome week for the class in Queensland.
So, Street Stock competitors, the ball is now in your court. Here is the perfect opportunity to be involved in a week of racing constructed purely for your benefit. Not forgetting that there are some worthwhile rewards awaiting those who end up as winners.
Everyone will be a winner, though, during this Street Stock week as the local clubs involved strive to make it a more than memorable week for everyone involved. The natural beauty and tourist based attractions of this area of Queensland are perfect partners to make a week of fierce competition and good, old fashioned relaxation.
All clubs have pledged to have readily available any storage, repair facilities and assistance that may be required by any driver to ensure that this experience is enjoyed to the max.
So, Street Stock drivers, come on down! Kingaroy’s showground style speedway, Toowoomba’s high speed oval and Gympie’s unique speedway all await your arrival.
