Strict Noise Constraints for Maryborough Speedway

Following more noise complaints from the local council, Maryborough Sporting Car Club has just had to purchase a brand new Rion NL21 Noise measurer and data logger (valued at $10,000) which must now be used at every single event at the Maryborough Speedway. There is now a requirement to send all this information to the Fraser Coast Regional Council after every event for analysis.
This means noise testing will be carried out from the infield of every single race from now on at the Maryborough Speedway and unfortunately any car that is measured over the 95db(A) level will be disqualified from the event.
Please ensure that your car meets the 95 db(A) rule.
This will be measured approx 30 metres on the infield at a height of 1.5m at the acceleration point exiting turn four. (towards the exit gate).
