Peacock Adds Another #1 to his 2013 Collection

11/03/13…Pam Franz

Jayden Peacock is having a spectacular run in his final year as a Junior Sedan driver.  Having raced from the day he turned 10 years old Jayden is a season accomplished young driver with a huge future in front of him in the senior ranks.

On the weekend just past Jayden and his family travelled to Moranbah in central western Queensland to compete in the 2013 Junior Sedan Title.  Jayden won all 3 heats to start from Pole Position in the 25 lap final.  In an event which was interrupted by electrical problems caused when an isolated shower came over the Moranbah Speedway complex aroun 9pm on Saturday night, Jayden lead the whole of the A Main from flag to flag when it was run on Sunday morning at 845am.  At no time did Jayden look to be struggling with the freshly prepared track which went ‘black’ very early in the race.

Jayden and his family will now head to Victoria to have a shot at adding the next Junior Title to his success belt for 2013 before moving out of Juniors in to a senior sedan division.
