Weather the Winner Again for Gympie, Lismore and Mackay

Once again the weather is the winner this weekend.  Gympie’s Mothar Mountain Speedway have cancelled their race meeting which included Round 10 of the Super Sedan Think Money Qld Series due to insistent and on-going rain over the past few days with higher rain fall predictions for today from the BOM.  The next race meeting will now be the Qld Super Sedan Title meeting on Saturday 4th May, which will also be the last scheduled race meeting for the season at Mothar Mountain.

The third weekend of major Title events for Modified Sedans has also been rain affected.  Lismore was hosting the NSW Modified Sedan Title tonight but due to large rainfall totals yesterday and equally as much predicted for today the regretable decision has been made to cancel tonights racing at Lismore.  The Lismore promoter and the SSA of NSW will notify further when/if this event will be re-scheduled.

Rain also prompted the promotion at Mac’s Speedway in Mackay to call their race meeting off several days ago with large rainfall totals falling and more predicted.
