Super Street AMT Championship Kicks Off

Round one of  the six round Super Street Sedan AMT (Advanced Metal Turning) multi track championship will be held at Gympie’s Mothar Mountain Speedway on 25th October 2008.

Round one will be sponsored by Budget Towing (many thanks to Dave Kent) to be held over 3 rounds of Heats and a 30 lap Final.  No Heat money payable, Final prizemoney as follows:
 
1st – $600 
2nd – $300
3rd – $150
4th – $100
5th – $75
All other competitors $60

Points will accumulate from all 6 rounds at various tracks (Gympie, Rockhampton and Maryborough) for a $1000 bonus to be paid to the Highest Points Scorer after 6 rounds are completed.
Overall Winner at each track will be the AMT Super Street track champion.

Super Street Association and non association members are welcome to race, however, only Super Street Association members are eligible for the AMT Super Street Series bonus and any associated prizes. At each round all non association members will be paid prize money and tow money as per the host clubs regular payment amounts for Super Street Sedans.

We are looking forward to having a full field of cars attend to continue to promote the Super Street division.

At all rounds of the AMT Series Log books and Licences will be available after the completion of the Final from the AMT transporter so there is no delays at the completion of the race meeting for those travelling distances, any log books not picked up will be posted along with prize money the week following racing.
