Street Sedan Mary 1000 – 50 Lapper

The Maryborough Speedway is pleased to announce that due to the lack of runs for QSCA classes between December and Easter, and the fact that due to crazy circumstances the Street Sedan A Main was cancelled last weekend, we will be running an extra meeting on February 23rd.

Street Sedans (Mary 1000)
Super Streets
QSCA Junior Streets
4 Cyldinder Speedway Sedans
Nostalgia Sedans

This will be no ordinary meeting for the Street Sedans as we will be hosting the Mary 1000 (50 lapper)

A Main Prize Money
1st – $1000
2nd – $600
3rd – $400
4th – $300
5th – $200
6th – 24th – $100

All other competitors that don’t make the A Main will recieve $40.

We are hoping that this event will be well supported and plans are underway to make this an annual on the Maryborough Street Sedan calendar.

With this kind of money, we would think that we would attract 45+ cars.

Top 20 cars will automatically qualify, with the final 4 spots for the final, will come from the B Main.

Top points scorer after all heat races draws a marble (4,6 or 8) for starting positions in the A Main. For example if the top points scorer draws the 8 marble, then the top 8 positions will invert, meaning 8th will now start from pole and 7th will start from 2 right down through to 8th position (8th being the top point scorer). Then normal starting positions as per points gained during the heat races.
