In addition to the extensive range of new sponsors and awards already announced for the 2009/2010 Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series, organisers are very pleased to confirm that, for the first time ever, every round of the championship has secured a naming rights sponsor.

Joining the likes of Ocean Tyres, APCO Warrnambool and American Race Tires as event sponsors in the 2009/2010 series are two of the most dedicated supporters of Super Sedan racing in Bergmeier Engineering and JD Couriers.  Both companies have been strong supporters of the Carline NSSS for several seasons and their ongoing investment in the series is very much appreciated.

Geelong’s Avalon Raceway is perhaps the spiritual home of the Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series, having hosted the first ever round in January 2006 and being a part of the series every year since.  This year, Avalon will host round 8 of the 10-round tournament on Saturday, January 16.  The fifth-anniversary Avalon event will be sponsored by Bergmeier Engineering, a company synonymous with Super Sedan competition through the exploits Ron and Ashley Bergmeier as competitors in NSSS competition and other Super Sedan events across the country. In addition to operating one of the most professional Super Sedan teams in the country, Bergmeier Engineering are the Victorian agents for American Race Tires and also offer a wide range of race parts and accessories for speedway sedan competition.

The penultimate event (round 9) on the 2009/2010 NSSS schedule is will be staged at Adelaide’s Speedway City on Saturday, January 23 and it is no surprise to see JD Couriers supporting the event as naming rights sponsor.  JD Couriers owner John Dawson has been fanatical in his support of Super Sedan racing in South Australia for many years, instigating the season-long JD Couriers Series at Speedway City and supporting previous NSSS events in the state. Dawson is also one of the key figures behind the 2009/2010 Australian Super Sedan Championship scheduled for Speedway City in March.  The extensive support of JD Couriers has played a significant role in the revitalisation of the Super Sedan division in South Australia and the Carline NSSS organisers are very appreciative of their ongoing commitment to the category.

The naming rights sponsor of the 2009/2010 Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series Grand Finale will be announced soon.
