Last night the Annual General Meeting of the South Burnett Speedway Club was held in Kingaroy. Unfortunately, the successful committee headed by Travis Barron from the 2006/07 season have indicated that they are unable to stand for re-election in the 2007/08 season. Due to their being no members willing to offer their services last night at the meeting the Annual Meeting has been re-scheduled for Tuesday 7th August at 7.30pm in the same venue at the Kingaroy Showgrounds.

It is to be hoped that club members will have a long think about making a committment to their club for the next 12 months and attend the re-scheduled meeting to be held on 7th August with the intent of taking on a club executive position for the 2007/08 season so that speedway can continue to prosper in Kingaroy for yet another year.
