RIP Llew Seesink – former State Chief Steward

26/02/10…Pam Franz

The QSCA is indeed saddened to shared the news of the passing of Llew Seesink this week.  Llew was a true gentleman in the sport of speedway.

Llew capably filled the role of State Chief Steward for many years in the 1990’s travelling all over Queensland to help foster and nurture speedway in many areas.  Llew was a big contributor to the QSCA Management Committee.  Llew was always accompanied by his supportive wife, Estelle, as he completed his duties for speedway.  On numerous occasions Llew and Estelle opened their home for the holding of QSCA meetings and many drivers can recount weekends spent at the Seesink property when competing in Bundaberg.

Llew and Estelle were both active members of the Bundaberg Speedway Sedan Club for many years in both the days at Carina and earlier at Sharon.

Our thoughts are extended to Estelle, son Craig and daughter Cheryl at this most difficult time.  Llew will be laid to rest today in a private ceremony in Bundaberg.
