DOYLE declared the winner after 27 completed laps.

Race declared – QSCA Inc President Paul Gannon advised that the decision to declare the race at 27 laps came after consultation with the race steward. After drivers had been sitting in their cars for almost 35 mins advice was received that the lights could be out for up to another 45 mins to an hour, and that was if the circuit breaker could be repaired. The chief steward Allan Jennings, under Duty of Care, then made the call to declare the race, although there was partial lighting he felt it was unsafe to allow the race to continue under such conditions.
