NSSS Carline Television Schedule Confirmation

The television broadcast schedule for the 2010/2011 Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series has been confirmed, with six hours of coverage on both free-to-air and pay television. The Chequered Flag motorsport program on Foxtel and Austar will feature five hours of series coverage, with SBS to again broadcast a 60-minute series review at the conclusion of the championship.

The first program, which will feature an extensive series preview including interviews with defending champion Matt Pascoe, former series champ Darren Kane and rising star Trent Wilson, will be filmed on location at Carline Mufflers Caloundra in Queensland.  The preview show will be screened on Foxtel and Austar on Wednesday, December 15.

The second program, which will be broadcast on Wednesday, January 12, will feature all of the racing highlights from the opening round of competition at Brisbane International Speedway.

Program number three will be screened two weeks later on Wednesday, January 26 and will include an overview of news and results from rounds two and three as well as all the on-track action from round four at Mount Gambier’s Borderline Speedway. 

The fourth program on the television schedule will feature racing action from rounds five and six of the Carline Mufflers NSSS to be contested at Avalon Raceway (Geelong) and Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway. This program will be screened nationally on Wednesday, February 9.

The final of the Chequered Flag broadcasts will incorporate an overview of results from rounds 7 and 8 plus all of the action from the series Grand Final at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway, the first time the Carline Mufflers NSSS has ever visited the Parramatta circuit. The series finale will be broadcast on Wednesday, March 16.

A 60-minute series review has again been confirmed for broadcast on SBS on a date yet to be determined.  The SBS program will include a full wrap-up of series news and results, racing highlights and interviews with the series stars.
