The Gympie Saloon Car Club proudly announces the second running of the Corbet’s Group Gympie Gold Rush Modified Sedan Showdown to be held at Corbet’s Group Mothar Mountain Speedway on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of September 2018.

The inaugural running of the event attracted some of the best Modified Sedan competitors in the country; and this year’s follow up event will surely host another list of the best drivers in the division as starters for the event.

A free practice night will be held on the Friday night (28th September 2018) prior to racing to get everyone dialed in for the next two nights of first class competition. A free bar-b-que will follow the practice session.

Club President Allan Jennings was all smiles when announcing the second running of the event. “Once again, we have the backing of Corbet’s Group for the event. They are magnificent supporters of our local club and race track. This season, Ian Boettcher Race Parts have joined in with the meeting and will provide merchandise in the form of Seat Belts and Window Nets, as winning bonuses for heats and mini-features over the two nights of racing.”

Nomination forms for the event are already available on the Club’s website at –
