ASCF/Speedway Sedans Australia Inc has passed a motion that will encourage the largest possible grids for national titles by abolishing the rule that penalises entrants with a rear of field start in the heats.

The previous motion read:  Grid Draws for National ASCF/SSA Inc Titles to be drawn after practice with drivers in attendance.  All late nominations, received after the closing date will pay a late fee and go rear of field in the Heats.  Late Nominations close 48 hours prior to the draw being done.

The new motion now reads:  That nominations for all National Titles be open up to and including the close of scrutineering.  A late nomination fee is to be paid if the driver nominates after the official close of nominations, however, all drivers will be included in the draw and be eligible for tow money.

Please note:  the late nomination fee will be increased and this is on the agenda for the May Board meeting.  The intention of changing the original motion is to benefit the drivers not encourage late nominations.
