Over the past few seasons the growth that Modified Productions have seen has been incredible and the numbers continue to grow as Kingaroy Speedway prepares for a massive Modified Production Season.

After Aidan Raymont become the first person to win the Barron Family Modified Production Champion of Champions trophy and have his name etched onto the massive trophy, the Barron family are once again putting up $1000 to the Modified Production driver (from any club) that accumulates the highest number of points during upcoming season at Kingaroy Speedway.

As the years go on, we are certain to see some amazing names be added to this trophy and this season with some of the huge events that are scheduled in Kingaroy the winner will certainly have done well to become the King of Kingaroy and claim the bonus $1000 and the Barron Family Champion of Champions Award.

Here is what’s to come this season at Kingaroy and all the meetings that will count towards the Local Club Championship and of course the “$1000 to win” Barron Family Modified Production Champion of Champions trophy.

Modified Production dates at Kingaroy Speedway

September 30th – Sunday Night club show (Monday is a Public Holiday)
November 3rd – Wild Desert Allstars Series
January 25th, 26th & 27th – Kings Royal “$10,000 to win”
April 5th & 6th – Queensland Championship
May 5th – Show Meeting (Sunday Night Show – Monday is a Public Holiday)

This could possibly be the biggest season Modified Productions have ever had at Kingaroy Speedway and not only will it hold the Wild Desert Allstars Series, the $10000 to win Kings Royal and for only the third time in history the 2013 Queensland Championship.

So make sure you pencil in these shows at Kingaroy Speedway and if you’re looking for an early run prior to the season commencing the South Burnett Speedway Club will also host a practice night on Saturday 1st September between 5pm and 9pm.  The cost to practice will only be $40 per car and admission is free for everyone.  As normal the Queensland Ambulance Service will be attendance along with a Kingaroy Speedway fire rescue & crash crew.

Once again we would like to sincerely thank Gary Barron and the entire Barron Family for there support of the South Burnett Speedway Club and in particular the Modified Production division.

We look forward to seeing you all here this upcoming season.
