The HDS Modified Production Series for 2006/2007 season has come to an end.  The 7 rounds have been run over the last 4 months with rounds being held in Brisbane, Kingaroy, Gympie, Lismore, Rockhampton, Maryborough & Toowoomba.

We would like to thank all the sponsors for their support of this season’s series.  Ed Pearson of Hydraulic Drilling Services for the end of series prize money, Blackburn Performance Engines, Rob’s Auto Transport & AAA Brisbane Tilt Tray for the B Main Prize Money, Performance Wholesale for the vouchers for the 4th & 5th place getters in each feature race throughout the series and Tracwell Motor Body Builders for the Tandem Trailer prize.  The remaining sponsors of Boettcher Race Parts, American Race Tires, RCP Machining,Toowoomba Steering Service, Craig & Natalie Mellor, Oz Metal Recyclers, Treads International, Hillside Auto Dismantlers, Geritz Earthmoving, Gympie Pool World, AFCO Shock Doctor, Troy Ware Constructions Cooloola Food Services, Gav’s Engines, Aussie Trackwear, Cooroy Auto Wreckers, Kingaroy Equipment Sales, Beenleigh Brake & Muffler, Raw Sausage Butchery, Jordo’s Race Parts, Thomsen Builders, O-Tech Oils and Corvette Queensland all need to be thanked because if it was not for their continuing support this series would not be possible.

The drivers who all participated in this season’s series for either all the rounds or just one round we thank you for being a part of it.  After the 7th & final round held at Toowoomba on the 10th of March a winner was crowned.  Michael Hally came home in first closely followed by Greg Raymont and Todd Doyle in second & third place.  Aiden Raymont, Garry Maroske, Steve Price, Dale Grother, Shane MacDonald, Shane Langton & Neil Coomber finished in the top 10.

There were 15 drivers who completed all 7 rounds of the series and were eligible for the prizes and they were Michael Hally, Greg Raymont, Todd Doyle, Aiden Raymont, Garry Maroske, Steve Price, Shane MacDonald, Neil Coomber, Darryl Niesler, Steven Zahl, Troy Ware, Gavin Fletcher, Adrian Stott, Steve Downes and Luke Hollyman.

We look forward to next season and the next series.  Once again thank you to everyone involved in this wonderful series.
