Mothar Mountain Speedway bursts back to life this Saturday night for the fourth annual running of the “K & N Auto Parts – Super Pro” Street Sedan 50 lapper. The only man to win this event Tim Atkin is a surprise nomination this Saturday night and not only will be aiming to win four in a row, but is set to debut his brand new Holden VS Commodore this Saturday night at Mothar Mountain Speedway in front of an expected big season opening crowd.

…A fantastic field of twenty three drivers have nominated for the event and the field includes last weekend’s Kurt Murdoch Memorial 50 lap winner Brody Thomsen who entered the record books by winning on debut in a senior division at Maryborough Speedway last Saturday night. Also in the field is his father Steve Thomsen who finished behind his son last weekend in third position, along with Neil Keldoulis who finished runner-up and spoilt the Thomsen quinella.

Also among the Street Sedan field this Saturday night is former Queensland Champion Jim Cowley, along with Modified Production regular Adrian Stott and last years Gympie Saloon Car Street Sedan Club Champion Doug Rigby along with a whole host of other contenders.

If that doesn’t get you excited then how about the prospect of the biggest ever field of Late Models to even hit the mountain, when eighteen of the states best contest the opening round of the “All Parts Barn” Thunder Series. Darren Kane is set to make his competition debut in the division in the brand new Dominator #36 Late Model along with fellow Super Sedan superstar Wayne Randall who is jumping onboard the Stow Racing #17 Rayburn this Saturday night along with a host of series regulars, Blair Granger, Nick Girdlestone, Paul Carlish, Geoff Phillips and Aaron Van Zealand along with a whole host of others.

All the action gets underway at 4pm and in addition to the Street Sedans and Late Models, Junior Sedans, Productions Sedans and Modified Productions make up the action packed program set for Mothar Mountain Speedway this Saturday Night.
