G & W Modified Production Racing Series Round Up 2007/08

Dear Competitors, Sponsors, Pit Crew & Officials,

The G & W Racing Modified Production Series for the 2007/2008 speedway season came to end with the last round on Saturday night at Brisbane.  The 6 rounds were run over the last 5 months at Toowoomba, Maryborough, Lismore, Kingaroy. Gympie & Brisbane.

We would like to thank the series sponsor G & W Racing for continuing with their support of Modified Production Racing in South East Queensland & Northern New South Wales.  The series prize pool would not be possible without the support of Hydraulic Drilling Service, Tracwell Motor Body Builders, RCP Machining, Touch Up Guys, Beenleigh Mufflers & Brakes, Hillside Auto Dismantlers, Treads International, Toowoomba Steering Service, Dennis Bullpit, Gav’s Engines, Robert Trapp, AAA Brisbane Tilt Tray, Troy Ware Constructions, Cooroy Auto Wreckers, Kingaroy Equipment Sales, Cooloola Food Service, Proformax International, Thomsen Builders, Mac 1 Designs & John & Coral Carrell Speedway Photographers.  We would also like to thank  all of the clubs who hosted a round of the series.  The drivers & competitors also need thanking for their continued support of the series.

The final points after round 6 at Brisbane are attached.  Congratulation goes to the top 10 drivers Todd Doyle, Aiden Raymont, Steve Price, Shane MacDonald, Mark Raymont, Greg Raymont, Garry Maroske, Matthew Swarbrooke, Mark Ferguson & Steven Zahl.

There were 13 drivers who completed all 6 rounds of the series & they were Todd Doyle, Aiden Raymont, Steve Price, Shane MacDonald, Mark Raymont, Garry Maroske, Mark Ferguson, Steven Zahl, Travis Barron, Royce Ernst, Darren Pearson & Steve Collins. 

There were 13 drivers who completed all 6 rounds of the series & they were Todd Doyle, Aiden Raymont, Steve Price, Shane MacDonald, Mark Raymont, Garry Maroske, Mark Ferguson, Steven Zahl, Travis Barron, Royce Ernst, Darren Pearson & Steve Collins.

The total prize pool for the series was over $8000.00 with 70 drivers competing in 1 or more rounds of the series.  What a great effort.
