Belief in and support of the popular Maryborough Sporting Car Club’s application to host the 2008 National Modified Production Title has been confirmed this weekend at the ASCF/SSA May Conference when it was confirmed that Maryborough will host this event in March 2008 over the traditional Easter weekend.

Plans are well in hand to ensure that this event is a spectacular experience for all those who attend from spectators through to drivers and officials.  A field of up to 100 nominations is expected for this event and many people will be confirming their travel and accommodation plans early to ensure they are not disappointed.

This event will commence on Thursday 20th March with Scrutineering, Practice, Welcome Dinner, Drivers Calcutta.  Friday 21st March will be a presentation of all competing cars (mandatory attendance) at the Brolga Theatre where the Best Presented Team will be chosen and Presentation will take place, 3 rounds of Heats per driver will take place on Saturday night 22nd March with the 4th round of heats and A/B/C Mains to take place on Sunday 23rd March to find the 2008 Champion.

On both Saturday and Sunday nights early support program racing will begin at 4pm with Modified Production racing from 5.30pm.
