The National Super Sedan Series has great pleasure in announcing that Carline Mufflers has secured the naming rights for the 2007/2008 series. The sponsorship agreement was ratified in Adelaide this week and is a significant development for the series in only its third year of operation.
Since its inception, the National Super Sedan Series has been an overwhelming success, attracting big fields, large crowds and significant media exposure for competitors and participating sponsors. The series has played a significant role in the growth of Super Sedan racing nationally and Carline Mufflers have identified the benefits of being associated with such a successful national competition. The confirmation of Carline Mufflers as naming rights sponsor of the 2007/2008 series has prompted the National Association of Speedway Racing to cancel the sponsorship draw scheduled for Thursday, November 22. However, all sponsors scheduled to take part in the draw understand the circumstances under which the decision was made and are fully supportive of the procurement of Carline Mufflers as naming rights sponsor of the 2007/2008 series. “Securing Carline as naming rights sponsor is a significant coup for the series and all our existing sponsors have been fantastic with regard to the cancellation of the sponsorship draw. The support of Carline, coupled with the ongoing support of all our existing sponsors, will enable the continued growth and financial sustainability of the series, which will benefit all Super Sedan competitors across Australia’, stated NASR General Manager Tim McAvaney when announcing the Carline Mufflers deal.
The 2007/2008 Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series will comprise eight rounds of competition, commencing in Rockhampton on December 27 and finishing in South Australia just 24 days later. The full schedule of events is as follows:
