Cairns Set for Qld Modified Production State Title

All roads lead to North Qld’s Cairns International Motor Speedway for Modified Production drivers & enthusiasts this Queens Birthday long weekend as Cairns hosts the “WESTCO TRUCKS” STATE MODIFIED PRODUCTION TITLES
 
With more than 40 cars nominated, the event has created plenty of interest, the close and furious racing this class has a reputation for, has  top drivers from all over the state geared up and heading north to the best part QLD.
 
Leading the charge is 2008’s Australian Champion and current Qld State champ, Todd Doyle, NSW champion, Steve Price & local Cairns ex Champion Johnno Collins along with most of the Hotshoes from the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast based clubs.
 
The Cairns club has left no stone unturned in a bid to ensure the title runs smoothly, a street convoy through the beautiful streets of the  Cairns foreshores & city is planned on the Fri afternoon followed by practice in the evening, then the heat draws and a calcutta/BBQ with Wes Beadman being the host.
 
Super Sedans are the main support with round 1 of the local series and will more than keep the fans entertained, a Monster “Demolition Derby” also programmed as the final event on Sunday.
