On 27th February 2010 Sunshine Coast’s Brady Roberts was successful in winning the 2010 Junior Street Sedan Title held at Maryborough Speedway.

25 excited Junior Street Sedan drivers presented for the the running their State Title – Juniors are a refreshing breeze in a mainly adult world of speedway – they compete in a no-holds barred style of racing on the track but off the track are the best of friends.  Speedway is indeed in good hands when these youngsters move through into the senior ranks.

Young Brady Roberts had a dream night with virtually no problems to overcome throughout the night.  At race meetings leading up the Title event Roberts had numerous challenges with his new car but it all came together for him on the night in a trouble free night.  After recording 2 heat wins and a 3rd Roberts found himself in Pole Position with Charlton’s Tim Smith in position 2.

Roberts didn’t have the A Main wrapped up until Maryborough’s Mitchell Thomsen was forced to retire after 13 laps of the 20 lap journey.

Defending champion Bradley Jennings had a night to forget with problems from the first heat and was unable to take his position in the A Main to have any chance of making it 3 title wins in a row.  Bradley has now moved up to the senior Street Sedan ranks and will be hoping to have left behind his bad luck of the past season.
