Gympie Central Shopping Centre presents a very special race meeting at “The Home of Champions”, Mothar Mountain Speedway, on Saturday 4th March, when the Mountain plays host to the Ellerfield Financial Planning 2017 Queensland National 4’s State Title.
A static display of National 4’s race cars will be held in the Gympie Central Shopping Centre on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd March to give plenty of opportunity for the fans to get a close up view of these incredible race machines.
The Ellerfield Financial Planning 2017 State Title has attracted a healthy field of cars from as far north as Cairns and south to Lismore, plus all of the regulars who compete on the Mountain. This should mean a close, exciting battle for the State Crown. The Title will be run over a series of three rounds of heats and a 40 lap final. The eventual winner would certainly have earned his / her title.
The field, at present, read as-
Gympie – Tim Weir, Justin Weir, Darryl Oliver,Al Mathers, Hayden Turner.
Sunshine Coast – Craig Davis, Matt Bielby, Harrison Chown, Peter Baguley, Braydon Mooney, Rodney Midolo, Sam Littlehales, Brock Hancock, Matt Claydon, Mark Kelly, Andrew Pickering,Gordon Midolo, Brendan Kennedy.

Lockyer Valley – Gary Cartwright, Ray O’Neill.
Bundaberg – Rachael Jenkins.

The very best of luck to all of the above. The levelling factor for all of these entrants will be the arduous 40 lap final.
